The company customises, imports and manufactures their products to populate commercial projects. With only 2 showrooms in Australia, they have maintained strong relationships with agents for nation reach which allows them to focus on workplace, senior living, hospitality and education sector projects. Due to company growth, they are seeking an ambitious and strategic Sales Consultant to join their Sydney team.

Our mission is to help clients create inspiring and functional spaces that reflect their unique style and vision. We offer a wide range of customizable furniture solutions and work closely with architects, designers, and specifiers to bring their design projects to life.

    Job Description:

    We are seeking an experienced A&D Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with architects, interior designers, and other design professionals to promote their products and services. You will work collaboratively with our design team to deliver customized solutions that meet our clients' unique needs and preferences.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Identify and engage with key decision-makers in the A&D community to generate leads and build a strong pipeline of business opportunities

    Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase our products and services

    Collaborate with our design team to create customized furniture solutions that meet clients' unique needs and preferences

    Maintain a deep understanding of the market and industry trends to stay ahead of the competition

    Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process

    Meet and exceed sales targets, including revenue and profitability goals

    Qualifications: Not needed but would be a preference

    Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field

    Minimum of 3 years of experience in A&D sales, with a proven track record of success

    Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

    Excellent negotiation and closing skills

    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

    Strong organizational and time management skills

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software

    Salary: $95,000 - $105,000 + super + Travel allowance + UNCAPPED commission (up to $150,000 in commission within your first year. ( OTE $250k

    Location: Sydney - 50% on the road + 50% in Office/ WFH

    Excellent communication skills and computer skills

    Ability to demonstrate experience with high-end products in the design/retail world

    Knowledgeable and passionate about the design industry

    Build and foster relationships with retail clients

    Arranging meetings with design industry clients to build your sales network

    Building upon our design consultation service

    Building long-term relationships with new and existing customers, and driving repeat purchases.

    Client outreach through appointment setting

    Understanding of manufacturing processes is desirable

    Self-motivated and driven with a willingness to absorb a large range of products and demonstrate in-depth product knowledge

    A proven sales and customer service background
