    Drive the Future of Forensic Intervention in Victoria

    We're seeking experienced mental health nurses to join our multidisciplinary team at Forensic Intervention Services (FIS) in Corrections Victoria.

    About the Role

    You'll work on complex cases with individuals who have histories of violent and sexual offending, playing a vital role in reducing re-offending and making the community safer.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Deliver best-practice forensic intervention in a correctional environment
    • Conduct comprehensive assessments, including risk assessments and clinical interviews
    • Develop and implement treatment plans, treatment reports, and risk assessment reports
    • Work within the Risk-Needs-Responsivity model to deliver individualised services

    Your Qualifications and Experience

    • Registered as a Mental Health Nurse with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses
    • Possess a current driver licence
    • A strong understanding of the Risk-Needs-Responsivity model and evidence-based assessment tools
