As a Security Analyst, you will be responsible for day-to-day, proactive monitoring to ensure security requirements and configurations are met within Genesys Cloud. This role will also allow for the implementation of new security solutions and assessing functionality of current tooling, as well as work with our threat hunters to help keep the Genesys Cloud platform secure.

What you will do:

Perform threat hunting and incident response activities, as well as participate in incident response exercises.

Assist with change management responsibilities.

Monitor configurations of production systems to ensure they remain compliant.

Monitor security configurations to ensure they are operating effectively.

Monitor security advisories to increase awareness to new and current threats.

Work closely with Security Engineers to improve incident alerting and automated remediation.

Work with the Security Operations team on evidence collection for customer and compliance audits.

Participate in a rotating 24x7 on-call shift with fellow Security Analysts.

Understand & comply with PCI, HIPAA Security, and Privacy Laws Adhere to Genesys Code of Business Conduct and Ethics

What you will bring to the role:

Strong understanding of IAM methodologies

Knowledge of web application attack detection techniques.

Qualification in IT-related discipline or relevant work experience

Understanding of fundamental IT security practices

Effective multi-tasker

Detail-oriented and systematic.

Desirable experience or willing to learn:

Documentation solutions like Confluence and Sharepoint

Logging/SIEM /SOAR solutions like Splunk, SumoLogic

AWS cloud technology

One or more of the following certifications would be an advantage but not required:

Security+, CCSK, GCIH, or other industry certifications

Any AWS certification
