    Aboutthe role

    This positionwill be responsible for the development and delivery of spatialproducts and services to Council and the community, ensuring theprovision of core spatial products and services to internal andexternal customers to address their business needs.

    Providingstrong analytical competency with specialised spatial technicalskills, this position will employ their extensive knowledge andexperience in the development and delivery of spatial products andservices to provide the following: Consultation, advice, andsupport to internal and external customers in the provision ofvalue-adding spatial products, analysis, and modelling services.Provide delivery of high engagement spatial services, includingspatial analysis, modelling, and visualisation

    Aboutyou

    Our idealapplicant will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Geographical Information Systems, Cartography, Surveying, and/or substantial industry experience.
  • Formal qualifications or demonstrated experience in the disciplines of Service Management (ITIL)
  • Minimum 5 years' relevant industry experience with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position.
  • Substantial knowledge of and demonstrated experience with Geographic Information Systems, Business Information Management Systems; for example, in Enterprise Asset Management and Property and Rating, GIS programming logic, and spatial technologies and peripherals such as AutoCAD
  • Strong spatial and statistical analytical, modeling and visualization experience and skills, including 3D, network, geostatistical, demographic.
  • Strong conceptual, analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, consultation, negotiation, and communications skills.
  • Ability to apply creative problem-solving techniques in a highly complex environment using leading-edge technologies and integrating diverse user systems.
