    Mechanical Fitter - Port Hedland (Local)

    We're looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our awesome Karratha workshop team. Large modern workshop, excellent facilities with a variety of workshop and site projects available. Variety of work scopes including maintenance of fixed plant equipment such as Stackers, Reclaimers, Ship loaders, Conveyors, Car Dumpers, etc.
    The successful candidate will see themselves employed on a full-time basis working Monday to Friday day shift.

    Qualifications, Skills and Experience

    • Australian Recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification (Essential)
    • A current and valid Manual Australian Driver's license
    • RIWHS202E – Enter and work in confined spaces -(Essential)
    • RIWHS204E – Working Safety at Heights – (Essential)
    • Experience working with area permit systems; safe work instructions and hazard identification.
    • Australian Working Rights
    • Current High-Risk Forklift Licence (Essential)
    • Proven experience working with all types of fixed plant equipment – Stackers, Reclaimers, Ship loaders, Conveyors, Car Dumpers etc.
    • MSIC (marinetime security identification card) - (highly desirable)
