    Description

    The Role:
    We are seeking motivated and experienced Consultant Psychiatrists to join a great supportive team in Melbourne, Victoria.

    We are looking for Locum and Permanent doctors at this facility.

    This position will be attractive to highly skilled and motivated medical professionals who view challenges as opportunities and are driven by a passion to improve healthcare in the complex world of modern health systems.

    About You:

    • Have current specialist registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
    • Are Fellow with Royal Australia & New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (essential)
    • Provide high level of quality clinical care
    • Demonstrate high level of professionalism and leadership skills
    • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    The Hospital:
    This facility delivers a comprehensive range of specialist, community and hospital-based mental health services for people who are experiencing or are at risk of developing a serious mental illness.
    They work with people who have a range of diagnoses such as:

    • Schizophrenia
    • Psychosis
    • Bipolar disorder
    • Mood disorders
    • Eating disorders
    • Depression
    • Personality disorders
    • Anxiety disorders
    • Those at risk of harm to themselves or others
    • Those with more than one disorder, including drug and alcohol-related issues.

    Laid-back multicultural suburb popular with a young, alternative crowd, and known as a destination for live music, upbeat pubs and beer gardens. At the area's heart, you will find Middle Eastern and Mediterranean eateries, offbeat shops, shisha lounges and cafes along its considerable length.
    Neighbouring area is more upscale, home to upwardly mobile professionals and craft-beer bars
