    About the Role

    National 360 has anexciting opportunity within our national Positive Behaviour Support Team. Witha strong team of qualified PBS Leaders, you will work in an environment whichfosters the advancement of clinical skills through a robust clinical support structure.

    As a Positive Behavior Support Practitioner, you will be providing acombination of community, clinic, and telehealth-based services to NDISparticipants of all ages and supported by a Multi-Disciplinary Team.

    The overall aim of the Behaviour Support Practitioner role is to improvea person's quality of life and that of the people around them. Some of thethings you'll be responsible for in your role include:

    • Building relationships with the participant and key stakeholders
    • Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA)
    • Developing and implementing Behaviour Support Plans that can includefunction based strategies
    • Providing training and education to stakeholders
    • Reviewing and reducing restrictive practices in accordance with the NDISQuality and Safeguards Commission guidelines
    • Regular data collection and monitoring progress

    We believe that talented clinicians are developed and nurtured, not justfound through an exhaustive list of requirements. With that being said, thereare a few requirements for our PBS practitioners which are:
    • Be deemed as 'Core' by the NDIS Commission (evidence ofletter required)
    • Minimum 12 months experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner (includingdemonstrated experience of conducting FBA's and writing Behaviour SupportPlans)
    • Minimum 12 months experience of working within the NDIS sector
    • Experience working within an adult caseload (favourable)
    • Relevant Tertiary Qualification (e.g., Psychology, Social Work,Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Counselling, Social, Disability,Teaching or Social Sciences)
    • Experience of working with restrictive practices
    • A learning mindsetand commitment to continuous development
    • NDISWC / WWCC (orwillingness to apply)
