    THE ROLE

    Reporting to the Head of Data and Analytics, the Business Analyst will leverage strong analytical skills to conduct comprehensive analyses across various business domains, utilising diverse tools and methodologies. They will deliver actionable insights through robust reporting to support stakeholders in achieving strategic business objectives and enhancing Mentholatum's market position in the healthcare and consumer goods sectors.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – measurable actions, and/or areas of responsibility

    Business Analysis and Process Improvement:

    • Utilise advanced data analysis techniques to identify areas for productivity, quality, and profitability.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate and streamline operations, driving overall efficiency improvements.
    • Develop and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to track performance metrics, measure progress, and facilitate data-driven decision-making.

    Planning, Forecasting, Reporting and Improvement:

    • Evaluate growth opportunities and quantify associated risks for corporate strategy.
    • Formulate KPIs and quantify financial models.
    • Assist stakeholders in quantifiable business plan development and process enhancement.
    • Analyse and update process documentation to ensure alignment with measurable organisational needs and industry standards.

    Analysis and Solution Definition:

    • Conduct thorough analysis of organisational requirements and industry dynamics, providing measurable insights for strategic decision-making including predictive analytics where applicable.
    • Gather and meticulously analyse relevant information, actively engaging stakeholders for quantifiable input.
    • Facilitate collaboration between business units to define concrete solutions.
    • Contribute to ad-hoc analytical projects and initiatives, delivering measurable results.

    Project Management and Execution:

    • Lead and execute project management activities, measuring success by adherence to project deadlines and achievement of quality standards.
    • Efficiently facilitate meetings, ensuring measurable outcomes and prioritisation of tasks.
    • Drive continuous improvement of existing processes and approaches, measuring success through tangible enhancements in efficiency, productivity, and quality.

    Teamwork and Leadership:

    • Effectively communicate and actively contribute to team synergy.
    • Demonstrate a high degree of independence, with the capacity to work autonomously and make informed decisions.
    • Demonstrate initiative and provide tangible support for team development.
    • Actively participate in the ESH program, contributing to measurable improvements in environmental, safety, and health outcomes.

    KEY COMPETENCIES – specific skills, qualities, and knowledge necessary to succeed in the position

    • Advanced Analytical Skills: Proven ability to assess growth opportunities and identify risks, as well as translate complex data into actionable insights through data analysis and strategic thinking
    • Advance Software skills: Microsoft Office(advance excel tools and Power Query), Microsoft Power BI (ETL, M, DAX, Data Analytics, and Visualisation), Querying data with Transact SQL, Working knowledge of the Python programming language.
    • Financial Acumen: Proficiency in developing KPIs and financial models to support strategic business decisions.
    • Strategic insight: Capability to contribute to corporate strategy formulation and align business plans with overarching objectives. and capacity to conduct thorough analysis of organisational requirements and industry dynamics, providing actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
    • Process Improvement: Aptitude for enhancing processes including automation and supporting business plan development to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Performance Measurement and Optimisation: Skill in developing and implementing KPIs and dashboards to track performance metrics, measure progress, and facilitate data-driven decision-making for continuous process optimisation.
    • Interpersonal Communication skills: Excellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to stakeholders.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proficiency in collaborating with cross-functional teams to innovate and streamline operations, driving efficiency improvements.
    • Organisational Skills: Adept at organisational management, demonstrating a high level of precision in handling multiple projects simultaneously. Proficient in effectively prioritising tasks to meet tight deadlines.
    • Project Management Leadership: Proficiency in leading and executing project management activities, ensuring adherence to project deadlines and achievement of quality standards.
    • Applicants for the position should have at least three years' experience in a role with significant emphasis on data analysis, process design and strategic business analysis, preferably within health industry.
    • In addition to demonstrated expertise in operational and financial planning, workforce analysis, and inventory control, experience working with industry-specific data analytics and market research tools such as IQVIA, Quantium, Nielsen, and familiarity with CRM platforms like Salesforce will be considered an advantage.
    • Experience in improving productivity through KPI development and dashboard creation, fostering inter-departmental collaboration.
    • Strong analytical skills in supply chain operations and business systems analysis are also required for effective decision-making.
    • The ability to lead a small team, work autonomously, and proactively drive initiatives.
    • Demonstrated expertise in business analysis, BPM, and business improvement is essential, along with proficiency in operations analytics, business planning, project management, and presentation skills.

    Must have Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in business, data analysis, or a related field; an advanced degree (preferred) is highly regarded, especially if focused on areas critical to Mentholatum business context.
