A Place for compassion : Auburn House is an aged care provider and specialist person's mental health unit with 30 private rooms in a newly refurbished home like environment. We care for residents with diverse mental health, behavioural and psychological needs. We are a vital part of St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne Residential, Palliative Care & Correctional Health Services, a key clinical service program of SVHM and broader SVHA Public Hospital division. Auburn House operates with a qualified nursing workforce of Enrolled and Registered nurses with agreed workforce ratios and staffing levels that exceed industry standard.

Classifications for this position will range from Psychiatric Enrolled Nurse Level 2 PE21 - YD22 ($69,706 - $72,805 per annum pro rata).

About You

Empathy and Expertise: We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Enrolled Nurse with a background in aged mental health or dementia care. Qualification and Commitment: in addition to your experience you will need:

• Current Nursing Registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA
• An understanding of relevant legislation; principles and practice of aged psychiatry, and an understanding of the Commonwealth Aged Care Standards
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or be willing to obtain.
