- Drive, inspire and implement creative social media campaigns that bring the program's key messages to digital and other audiences.
- Maintain key internal relationships as part of the Customer Experience and Engagement team and provide key strategic digital advertising and marketing advice.
- Suggest, write and edit compelling content including copy, photos and reels that promotes the work of the program on social media and other channels.
- Manage the program's weekly social media calendar and social media channels, including nurturing and building audiences on these platforms.
- Work within a team to moderate community interactions on social media channels.
- Explore new channels and stay up to date with the latest social media trends to continuously improve how we communicate and engage our stakeholders.
- Support the program's paid campaigns and help to manage a vital and dynamic relationship with the key Queensland Government advertising agency to ensure campaigns are effective and run on time and on budget.
- Generate reports on media/social media/digital coverage of specific issues or business areas as requested and share insights with your communication and engagement colleagues and stakeholders.
- Be a champion of proper processes, accountability, record-keeping and audit processes to ensure paid advertising campaigns produce value for money for Queenslanders.
- Demonstrated experience in writing and editing compelling content including copy, photos and reels on social media and other channels.
- Demonstrated experience working on social media campaigns.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline is desirable.
- Experience working within Government an advantage.
- $62.67 per hour + Super
- Contract up to April 2027
- Logan City, Brisbane QLD
