    Job Description:

    The Wealth Team, Global Client GroupGlobal Client Group (GCG) is Dimensional's distribution arm, comprised of sales channels that target a diverse client set.

    GCG is responsible for the business development and relationship management of global clients.

    The Wealth Channel sits within GCG and includes an Enterprise team responsible for large national advisory clients and dealer group relationships across Australia and New Zealand.

    The OpportunityFrom the outset the Regional Director, Wealth will take ownership for business development and relationship management of a number of Dimensional's largest advisor clients and dealer groups.

    You will drive all sales related activities as well as lead and organize the efforts of our client services team members to effectively address the needs of advisors.

    To be successful, the Regional Director, Wealth must have a solid foundational knowledge of investments, capital markets and asset allocation theory, and for developing a deep and comprehensive understanding of Dimensional's investment strategies and investment philosophy and articulating this to the advisor landscape.

    The ability to discuss the sophisticated investment solutions that Dimensional provides is critical to your success in working with and influencing advisors.

    Equally as critical, the Regional Director, Wealth must have a strong business development orientation and understand the issues and challenges advisors face in building a client-centric business.

    This role is based in our Melbourne office.
    The RoleThe Regional Director, Wealth is responsible for the following:
    Sales leadership of a territory composed primarily of large non-institutionally aligned licences.
    Leading and managing relationships with dealer groups and their internal research relationships.
    Developing and delivering strategies to recruit new advisor relationships and retention strategies for existing advisors.
    Increasing revenues, AUM, and advisor clients within the territory through the profitable growth of the Dimensional product suite.
    Working collaboratively with Regional Director's in Wealth and other Channels to grow new Advisor relationships within dealer groups.

    Educating advisors on capital market behavior and investment theory and acting as an intellectual contributor and trusted advisor to clients and potential clients.

    Consulting with licenses and advisor firms on building an efficient practice while providing a successful investment experience to clients.
    Presenting Dimensional Fund Advisors' investment capabilities, investment theory and performance to Financial Advisors, company conferences and industry functions.
    Formulating and executing tailored Dimensional initiatives and championing existing company initiatives.
    Being a team-player and sales and marketing thought leader within the Dimensional team.
    Being a spokesperson and champion of the Dimensional brand and investment theory throughout the industry and marketplace.
    QualificationsAt least 7 years of sales experience working with licensees and advisors.
    Extensive knowledge of the Advisor landscape in Australia.
    A pre-existing and well-developed network of Financial Advisors and head office dealer group relationships.
    A track record of business development, building client Advisor relationships and raising assets.
    Prior team leadership experience preferred but not essential.
    A personal alignment, understanding and appreciation of Dimensional's investment process, philosophy, and business strategy.
    An entrepreneurial spirit with high energy and passion; a self-starter.
    Competitive but highly collaborative with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
    Bachelor's Degree with strong academic results required; MBA or CFA stronglypreferred.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly with regards to conveying technical investment approaches and key Dimensional selling points in a clear and compelling manner.

    A strong sense of professional and personal integrity and high ethical standards.
    Must be RG146 accredited.
