    We are a well-established Garden Maintenance and Construction company located in Castle Hill, committed to providing exceptional service to our residential clients. With significant growth potential on the horizon, we are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Landscape Gardener and embark on a rewarding journey in the world of horticulture.
    As an Apprentice Landscape Gardener, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced horticulturists to develop your skills and gain practical knowledge in all aspects of garden maintenance. This entry-level position offers hands-on training and the chance to contribute to exciting projects in high end residential settings.

    Role and Responsibilities:

    As the Apprentice Gardener you will:

    • Assisting with the maintenance of landscapes, including planting, irrigation, and turf management.
    • Learning and practicing proper pruning, trimming, and weeding techniques.
    • Participating in soil preparation, composting, and fertilization activities.
    • Contributing to the design and layout of outdoor spaces under the guidance of senior team members.
    • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
    • Adhering to safety guidelines and promoting a safe working environment.

    Requirements

    • Interest in plants and gardens
    • Committed to an apprenticeship (not just a job)
    • Willingness to learn
    • Be punctual and have a great work ethic
    • Be well presented and physically fit
    • Enjoy working as part of a team
    • Current drivers licence an advantage but not essential
    • Must have a sense of humour
