    Wood is currently seeking a Senior Structural Engineer

    Wood is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Minerals & Metals division on a long-term engineering services contract.

    Join us in our new offices situated in the heart of Perth CBD, offering state of the art end-of-trip facilities and wellbeing classes.

    About You

    You will have created a career in the mineral process/hydrometallurgical facilities ideally across both client and consultancy design engineering, with good knowledge of brownfield sustaining capital projects.

    Your knowledge of operations and technical expertise will encourage you to partner with our client to reach outcomes in a challenging production environment.

    In addition, we are looking for:Tertiary Qualifications from a recognized institute, Bachelor of Civil EngineeringDeveloping ability to mentor & motivate technical professionalsConsistently demonstrates creativity and innovation in finding solutions and alternatives to address complex client requirements, possessing agility and adaptability to project or client requirementsEffective communication and interpersonal skills for inter-departmental and external company interactionsAbility to diagnose and resolve significant and unusual problems and generate substantial improvements to practices and proceduresAbility to broadly interpret principles, theories, and concepts of an engineering specialtyHigh level of awareness and commitment to safety in all aspects of daily workPossesses integrity, strong work ethic, positive attitude, and is dependableAdaptable and flexible to the changing needs of projectsPlease note that only applicants holding valid working rights in Australia will be considered.
