Sales Coordinator – Commercial Furniture & Workplace Projects

designFARM is seeking a commercially minded Sales Coordinator to strengthen our sales process and support premium commercial furniture projects across Western Australia.
This is a structured, performance-focused role within a respected, long-standing design business working with leading architects, designers and corporate clients.
About designFARM
Established in 1997, designFARM is a family-owned commercial furniture business representing globally respected brands including Steelcase, Bolia, RBW, Dowel Jones, Ariake and USM.
We deliver premium workplace, education, multi-res and commercial projects ranging from $20k to $500k+, and pride ourselves on long-term client relationships, integrity and a high level of service. Our team values professionalism, consistency and doing things properly — while maintaining a supportive and collaborative environment.
About the Role
This is a key revenue support role focused on consistency, responsiveness and discipline.
You will:
• Manage inbound enquiries and qualify opportunities
• Prepare accurate, margin-compliant quotations
• Turn proposals around within 24–48 hours
• Systematically follow up open quotes
• Maintain CRM accuracy and pipeline visibility
• Support designer and client communication
• Coordinate closely with operations to ensure clean handovers
Your work will directly influence sales performance, client experience and revenue stability.

Experience in commercial furniture, fit-outs, construction or B2B sales support is highly regarded.
Growth Pathway (Merit-Based)
This role offers a clear progression path for high performers.
Stage 1 (0–6 months):
Build strong foundations in quote accuracy, follow-up discipline and CRM management. Demonstrate reliability, responsiveness and commercial awareness.
Stage 2 (6–12 months, performance-based):
Begin managing smaller $20–60k projects and accounts under supervision.
Stage 3:
Opportunity to transition into a Sales Consultant role with account ownership and commission structure.
Progression is based on performance, consistency and commercial capability — not tenure.
