The Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Architectural Drafts person to come and join the team in Sydney and work across projects in NSW.

In this key role you will play a crucial role in modifying and producing accurate and detailed structural and civil design documentation mainly using REVIT software and AutoCAD. Specifically, you will be responsible for the conformity of all activities with Company and project standards, procedures and policies and with laws, regulations and industry standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Review, modify and produce structural and civil graphical documentation, including layout plans and details, for structural steel, precast concrete, reinforced concrete and in-situ concrete slabs, road alignment, pavements, details etc.
• Utilizes computer-aided design systems to create technical drawings for structural and infrastructure projects using Revit software and AutoCAD.
• Issue drawings and documents.
• Assist with library of standard details and Revit families.
• Maintain register of drawings for projects.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Ideally you will have proven experience with AutoCAD software. Revit and MicroStation are a plus.
• Knowledge in modelling structural steel, precast concrete, reinforced concrete and in-situ concrete slabs, road alignment, pavements, details etc.
• Knowledge of CAD standards in MTM& DIT.
• Modelling, documentation, and collaboration experience.
• Experience working collaborative platforms such us ProjectWise.
