    About the Role:

    The Health and Safety Officer is a crucial position that enhances the health, safety, environment, and quality management system. This role involves close collaboration with the Business Operations Manager and various stakeholders to ensure compliance and promote a culture of safety and excellence.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Develop and implement the Health and Safety Management System, aligning with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
    2. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry-specific standards.
    3. Lead investigations into accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
    4. Develop and deliver Health and Safety training programs for employees and contractors.
    5. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
    6. Assist with information needed for tender submissions and facilitate client pre-qualification renewals.
    7. Gather and analyse data to provide reports and recommendations to senior management.

    About You:

    The ideal candidate has established knowledge in Health and Safety management. With excellent verbal and written communication skills, you will build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships. You should be a proactive and agile team player with an adaptable attitude and eagerness to grow.

    Skills and Experience:

    1. Proven experience in Health and Safety management.
    2. Strong knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
    3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Health and Safety management software.
    4. Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.

    Remuneration: $80,000 - $100,000 per annum
