    The purpose of the Enablement SH&W lead is to drive and support safety, health & wellbeing ("SH&W") across W Living. It will lead the co-creation and enable the delivery of the business SH&W roadmap in alignment with the Woolworths Group SH&W Strategy and W Living Strategy. The Enablement lead will work end-to-end on the management of risks associated with operations, support functions both in Australia and Overseas. The incumbent will nurture a close partnership between the operational business, key partners in W Living and the core teams in the SH&W Platform and wider support functions to enable ownership and management of SH&W risks and assurance of control frameworks.

    Reporting to the Head of Safety, Health and Wellbeing W Living you will partner with our senior leaders and their teams to provide support, guidance and coaching as we begin to establish new components of the W Living Portfolio, enhance our systems in existing businesses and deliver on our ambition to care for and protect everyone we engage.

    What you'll do:

    • Participate in the development and execution of safety strategy across the business, as well as developing Active Safety Leadership across W Living
    • Complete High Potential incident investigations, collaborate with regulators, develop processes in partnership with Store Enablement and embed a proactive approach to mitigate risks in stores.
    • Develop capability relating to safety processes, systems and regulations within the broader W Living team
    • Partner with key squads and chapters across the Woolworths Group to understand opportunities to improve the Safety, Health and Wellbeing of our teams, develop appropriate strategies and bring them to life in W Living
    • Lead weekly and monthly reporting and updates for the leadership team, in line with the Woolworths Group SHW Strategy and the W Living Annual Operating Plan

    What you'll bring:

    • At least 7 years experience in a Safety role, ideally with 2 years of team leadership experience
    • Tertiary level qualification in Safety or related field
    • Experience working in an organisation that has grown through acquisition, with a strong ability to translate group strategy across a portfolio of businesses
    • Demonstrated competency influencing leadership and frontline
    • Experience working in an Agile environment would be desirable
