    Join Shine Art Academy as a Visual Art Teacher / Teaching Assistant (Casual)

    We are looking for passionate, creative, and child-loving individuals to join our visual arts education team for children

    Location: Selected primary schools in Sydney South

    Working Hours: Wednesday and Thursday afternoons (flexibility required)

    We're looking for someone who:

    • Truly enjoys working with children and can engage with their curious minds
    • Has a strong interest in art and a solid foundation in drawing or painting
    • Is passionate about all things creative – whether it's films, music, theatre, or design
    • Has experience working with primary school-aged children (preferred)

    Your main responsibilities will include:

    • Picking up students and recording attendance
    • Setting up and packing up the classroom before and after class
    • Assisting with individual or small-group instruction
    • Communicating with the lead teacher about student progress
    • Supporting lesson planning and potentially writing short class summaries or feedback for school newsletters or social media

    Language & Communication:

    • Fluent in English (Mandarin is a bonus, but not required)
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Requirements:

    • Must have legal working rights in Australia
    • Patient, responsible, and able to stay calm while teaching young children
    • Energetic and willing to join team activities and school events
    • Shares our values in building a respectful, inspiring, and aesthetics-driven learning environment for children
