UGL's Manufacturing & Maintenance site based in Townsville is currently seeking experienced Boilermakers, Welders & Fabricators to join our team. These roles will be offered on full time permanent basis working day shift 6:00am to 14:30pm Monday to Friday.

UGL is open to applicants based interstate and looking for a relocation to Townsville, relocation assistance is on offer for successful candidates not local to the area.

About the role

Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager this role will see you working on new Locomotive fabrication as well as overhaul and maintenance to existing rollingstock as well general workshop duties as required.

About You

To be considered for the role you will possess the following skills, experience and attributes:

Trade qualifications or welding tickets
* Experience in Arc & MIG welding
* Heavy industrial experience.
* Bridge and Gantry Ticket desired but not essential
* High levels of attention to detail.
* Excellent Communication skills.
* Great time management skills.
* The ability to work within a team and unsupervised.
