    Base Salary: $121,579 - $129,532 per annum (Admin 8.1 to 8.4)

    Who are we?

    Established in 1991, Danila Dilba Health Service (DDHS) is an Aboriginal community-controlled organisation committed to providing culturally appropriate, comprehensive primary health care services and community development within the Biluru (Aboriginal) community of the Yilli Rreung (Greater Darwin) Region in the Northern Territory.

    We work to address the social determinants of health, including the broader issues that affect our people's health, through evidence-based research and public advocacy. We also work to empower individuals, families, and communities to optimize their health.

    About the role

    The Senior Manager Clinical Operations will work under the direction of the Executive Manager Clinical Services and alongside other Senior/Clinic Manager to lead, develop, implement, oversee, and manage the operations, and future growth and development of Clinical Services at DDHS.

    Responsibilities:

    • Contribute to the development, planning, implementation, and review of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practice.
    • Support risk management practices in identifying, assessing, mitigating, and reporting incidents and risks within Clinical Services.
    • Provide leadership and support to other Managers and Team Leaders within the team to build internal capacity and capability.
    • Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators, Medicare, and Contractual requirements.
    • Be a key representative and actively contribute to internal/external organizational committees and working groups.
    • Support change management initiatives related to Clinical Services, including process improvements.
    • Under the guidance of the EM Clinical Services, lead several work packages identified in the Project Implementation Plan for the new DDHS service model implementation.
    • Lead pilot projects or trials of approaches developed in work packages taking a Continuous Quality Improvement approach to monitor and advise on adjustments required.

    To be successful you will need:

    • Experience in clinical services or healthcare management, with a strong understanding of healthcare regulations and standards.
    • Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive change and foster collaboration across diverse teams.
    • Excellent written and oral communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
    • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and project management.
    • Experience in risk management, policy development, and change management.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
    • Culturally competent, ability to navigate a culturally inclusive environment.

    What we offer:

    • 6 weeks annual leave per annum
    • 5 days paid leave during our end of year shutdown period (in addition to annual leave)
    • Salary packaging of up to $15,990 per annum

    Employment with DDHS is subject to a police check, a current NT working with children's card, CPR certificate, and full vaccination against COVID-19, or an exemption as listed on the Australian Immunization Register (AIR).
