    Job Description Nine Plus is a national direct sales team within Nine, connecting the country's 40,000 small to medium enterprises (SMEs) with: Nine Television (9 HD, 9 Gem, 9 Go, 9 Life, 9 Rush, 9 Now) Nine Radio (2 GB, 3 AW, 4 BC, 6 PR) Nine Publishing (The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, The Australian Financial Review, The Sun Herald, Domain, Good Weekend, Sunday Life, Traveller and many more) Nine Digital , , , , 9 and many more) The role of Senior Business Manager - Television, is to work closely with the Director of Sales in managing the existing clientele database, while also identifying new business opportunities in order to achieve monthly revenue targets.

    Our Sales Executives deliver market leading solutions while ensuring great service and results for our customers.

    This is a role for a passionate and experienced Sales Executive who is excited and driven by emerging trends and technologies.


    Role Responsibilities Identify opportunities for new business growth Build and maintain effective relationships with independent agencies and direct advertisers Have a strong understanding of the Australian media industry and its buying models Ability to represent the Nine brand in market through proactive presentations to potential advertisers Managing a pipeline of briefs and proactive ideas to meet and exceed revenue targets Demonstrate a positive and professional communication style Lead, manage and guide a direct report in an Account Executive Qualifications Essential qualifications, experience & skills Possess strong commercial acumen Negotiating and influencing skills Strong communication and exceptional presentation skills Proven experience in building and maintaining strong relationships internally and externally Five years of media sales experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-past environment and adapt quickly to change Possess strong presentation skills – utilising Powerpoint & Excel software Ability to understand & adopt internal processes quickly Desirable qualifications, experience & skills Understanding of the television and SME (direct sales) landscape Exposure to Broadcast and other Media in general Additional Information Life at Nine: Nine is a people business.
