Are you a talented and highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with expertise in , , and AWS cloud technologies? Are you passionate about building robust and scalable containerized microservices using Docker on ECS? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment, utilizing CI/CD tooling like Jenkins to streamline development processes? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team

Position: Senior Software Engineer 6 month contract - on AWS Cloud Stack

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain and applications, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability.

Utilize AWS cloud services to architect, deploy, and manage scalable and fault-tolerant applications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, and turn them into technical solutions.

Build containerized microservices using Docker and manage them on AWS Elastic Container Service (ECS).

Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.

Set up and maintain the alerting and monitoring stack on Sumo Logic/Dynatrace to ensure real-time visibility into the application's health and performance.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, both independently and in a team setting.

Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Proven hands-on experience as a Senior Software Engineer, with a strong background in and development.

Extensive experience designing and implementing cloud-based solutions using AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, etc.).

Solid knowledge of containerization with Docker and hands-on experience with managing containerized services on ECS.

Proficiency in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.

Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools such as Sumo Logic or Dynatrace to ensure high application availability and performance.

Strong problem-solving skills, ability to analyze and optimize code for performance and efficiency.

Experience working on large-scale, distributed systems and understanding of microservices architecture.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively in a team environment.

Continuous learner with a proactive approach to staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
