    ABOUT THE ROLE

    This Business Development Manager role will focus on domestic transport and logistics within the food and beverage space. It is suited to a traditional hunter who can source, convert, and onboard new business. It is important to note that the position comes with a book of leads for the successful candidate to explore. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with business directors who bring a wealth of transport and logistics sales knowledge. The position offers a generous salary and commission structure for the successful candidate.

    DUTIES


    • Explore and generate new business opportunities with the food and beverage logistics space


    • Ensure the current portfolio of clients is serviced and maintained


    • Update and maintain sales platforms with relevant information


    • Ability to learn and sell all the available products on offer


    • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal

    SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE


    • Strong understanding of new business sales and conversation


    • Experience with food and beverage logistics sales preferred (or contract logistics and, or domestic freight sales)


    • Ability to research, develop and create new sales opportunities


    • Implementation of new strategies to increase business growth with internal departments


    • Preparation of sales reports
