Forklift - Despatch professional wanted for ongoing permanent casual role for Precast Yard South Brisbane.
The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Despatch Customer Service person for a full-time Casual position leading to permanent after probation on Brisbane's Logan Southside area.
The role is crucial to provide support to current customer service team. You will be responsible for providing customer support to both internal and external customer.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with making bookings and transportation requirements.
• Liaising with Operations Staff, Transport Staff and Management.
• Manifesting metro orders by contacting drivers to place daily runs in drop off order and entering them into the warehouse management system.
• Contribute as a member of the Customer Service Team with a focus on communications with all internal and external stakeholders
• Be a central point of contact for internal and external customer enquiries.
• Coordinate the investigation of and ownership of enquiries until a satisfactory conclusion is reached.
• Organise accurate and timely processing of customer pick-ups, data entry of connotes, deliveries, POD's, damages, and manifesting runs
• Respond to Customer phone and email enquiries in a timely manner
• Data Entry, Processing Clients Orders.
• Assist to load/unload trucks heavy loads.
• Safe operation of all onsite equipment and machinery
• Weekly performance bonus $120 on top of hourly rate

Skills and Requirements

• Sound interpersonal and communication skills across all levels, both oral and written.
• Must have positive can do attitude and ability to work strongly within a team.
• Experience with conflict resolution and large volume customer engagement.
• Previous experience in the transport, supply chain and logistics industry is highly desirable.
• Intermediate Outlook & MS Excel Skills.
• Full time Australian working rights.
