    Field Sales Manager - Ground Transport

    YOUR ROLE

    The Field Sales Manager will maximise efficiency and profitability in a high-growth market by achieving targeted, results-driven sales that align with operational capacity and business goals.

    The Field Sales Manager reports directly to the NSW State Transport Manager, ensuring close collaboration and accountability.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Identify and secure new customers to optimise transport capacity and improve efficiency and profitability.
    2. Collaborate closely with the State Transport Manager to align sales efforts with operational capabilities and objectives.
    3. Work with the Senior Transport BDM to ensure strategic alignment, performance monitoring, and support during the sales process.
    4. Implement standardised proposals to onboard new accounts without disruption to existing operations.
    5. Drive growth through a disciplined sales approach while supporting broader transport solutions for larger contracts.

    WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    We seek a candidate with proven experience in sales/business development within the transport sector, as well as strong collaboration and influencing skills.

    1. A strong understanding of Australian transport networks and operational cost drivers.
    2. Proficiency in using data and performance metrics to refine sales strategies.
    3. An excellent ability to present and negotiate tailored transport solutions.
    4. Experience working with CRM systems and managing transactional sales processes.
    5. Bonus: a tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
