    Our federal government client is seeking an experienced, highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join their Technology and Information Management. The Senior Project Manager must have proven record of accomplishment and experience in delivering ICT software projects and managing defined projects to deliver outputs and products in accordance with budget and quality standards which contribute to the delivery of ICT solutions across the organisation.

    As a Senior Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

    • Defining the project scope, objectives, and milestones in collaboration with the project sponsor and other stakeholders.
    • Developing business cases which describe potential benefits and options for achieving these benefits through development of new or changed processes.
    • Developing and maintaining a detailed project plan that outlines the tasks, resources, dependencies, risks, and issues of the project.
    • Managing the project budget and tracking the project expenses and revenues.
    • Communicating the project status, progress, and changes to the relevant parties, such as the project team, senior management, and clients.

    The successful candidate must have:

    • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field. Professional certification, such as PMP or PRINCE2, is an asset.
    • At least five years of experience in managing IT projects.
    • Strong knowledge of the project management methodologies, tools, and best practices, such as agile, waterfall, scrum, etc.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Familiarity with the latest technologies, trends, and innovations in the IT field.
