- Previous experience working bulk fuel management or Defence fuels is desirable
- Duties as directed by the Operating Agent (OA)
- Drive to DFI's around Rockhampton to collate and report on data
- Performing operational functions and operational surveillance checks within each Defence Fuel Installations (DFI)
- Responsible for security, environmental and emergency management of the DFI
- Minor fuel quality sampling and testing requirements
- Maintain appearance and cleanliness of surrounding area
- Maintain accurate records and keep logbooks up to date
- Excellent time management
- Responsible for storage, packaging and disposal of Dangerous Goods - including hazardous materials
- Valid Drivers Licence (HR or HC will be highly regarded)
- Safety is at the forefront of everything you do
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain appropriate Defence Security Clearance
- Live locally, or willing to relocate to the Rockhampton region

Description
UGL Defence has recently been awarded the contract to manage the Defence fuel related Asset Management, Operations and Maintenance. We are recruiting Fuel Operators to join our Operations & Maintenance team in what is an exciting and unique opportunity to work in the Australia Defence environment to support the national security requirements of the Nation.
This is a unique opportunity to join a long-term, operations and maintenance contract, within the defence sector. Work with a Tier 1 services provider, alongside an established crew of experienced technicians.
The Roles
Led by an Operations Supervisor, the following roles will be based in the Rockhampton region, supporting several fuel installation sites in the region. This part-time permanent position will see you work 16 hours per week. The permanent rate for this position is $43.00 per hour + superannuation.

Along with experience relevant to each role above, you will be a strong team player, a self-starter and dedicated employee. We expect that the successful applicant will have the following:
Defence specific training will be advantageous; however, this training will be provided to the successful applicant where required
