Job Description

Seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Platform Engineer tojoin the team working with different Project team(s) and business Initiativesto implement, optimize and maintain the Oracle Cloud and hybrid cloud-basedlandscape.

As an OCI Engineer,

• You take end-end ownership of the infra/application deployments and automation on the Cloud. Install,configure, and maintain OCI compute, storage, and network resources.
  
• You are responsible for building scalable infrastructure and deployment solutions for the Cloud using variousavailable CI/CD tools.
  
• You will monitor and optimizesystem performance, ensuring high availability and scalability.
  
• You will develop and maintainsystem documentation, including system architecture diagrams, procedures,and policies.
  
• You guide the team on varioustechnical aspects and ensure that the day today operational requirementsare met with no customer impact.
  
• You are responsible for cutting across different teams in OCI to find and build effective solutions aligned with OCI best practices and guidelines.
  
• You monitor and create servicerequests with Oracle Support as required.
  

Skills

• Experience in Oracle SQL/PLSQL
  
• Experience with EnterpriseManager for monitoring and administering mission critical databases.
  
• Knowledge of database backupand recovery
  
• CI/CD, DevOps, Automation
  
• Python, Shell Scripts
  
• Git
  
• Gitlab, Jenkins
  
• Strong troubleshooting skillsto investigate errors and performance bottlenecks.
  
• Strong collaboration andassertive communication skills, analytical skills, and thoroughunderstanding of product development

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle database12c, 18c, RAC, ASM, Data Guard and Performance tuning

• Certifiedin Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Cloud Operations Professional
  

Experience

• Previous experience in asimilar role supporting multi-cloud and on-premises environments.
  
• 5+ years of working knowledgeof Oracle technology, including Oracle Access and Identity Management,Oracle SOA, Oracle WebLogic, Oracle Database/RAC
  
• Demonstratedawareness of applicable IT change and problem management processes.
  
• AnyCertifications e.g., Oracle, AWS, Azure, Windows, Linux highly regarded.
