    Job Title: Obstetrician and Gynaecologist

    About the Role

    We are seeking a skilled obstetrician and gynaecologist to join our dynamic team at Grampians Health.

    The successful candidate will have opportunities to enhance patient outcomes, contribute to service innovation, and support the professional development of junior staff.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct obstetrics and gynaecology operating sessions as per schedule, including complex caesareans.
    • Provide high-quality obstetric and gynaecological care to patients.
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
    • Participate in gynaecology clinics, on-call duties, and emergency patient care as rostered.

    Requirements

    • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with patients and resolve conflicts professionally.
    • Medical degree registered with AHPRA and FRANZCOG or equivalent for RANZCOG recognition.
    • Postgraduate experience enabling Medicare specialist recognition.
    • Proficient in obstetrics and gynaecology, including elective and emergency surgical management.
