Job Title: Lifeguard

A lifeguard's primary responsibility is to ensure a safe environment for all pool users. This involves being vigilant and proactive in identifying potential risks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide active supervision to guarantee the safety of everyone at the pool
- Identify hazards and respond promptly and appropriately to incidents or emergencies
- Administer first aid when needed
- Promote safe aquatic practices and encourage positive behaviors among patrons

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess, or be willing to obtain, certain qualifications,

• National Police Check (issued within six months)
• DHS Working with Children Check

, as well as certifications such as Pool Lifeguard Certificate,

• (HLTAID011) Provide First Aid

. In addition to these requirements, applicants should demonstrate strong communication skills and a genuine interest in maintaining a secure environment.
