Our roots are in Melbourne - our founding team is here - but we also have key executives based all around the world, including the US, Jamaica, Brazil, Indonesia and Kenya.
This role reports to the Chief Growth Officer, also based in Melbourne, with the expectation that you'll work from our work space in Cremorne 4 days per week.
We have a 10-person office at The Commons.About this role:
This person is responsible for distribution.
We need to continuously improve our go-to-market focus and execution to bring in the next cohort of exceptional clients.
This is a hands-on executive role.
We're looking for someone with 10+ years of digital, product marketing and leadership experience, especially with paid media platforms in a performance marketing context, who's fine doing contributional work themselves.
They'll initially manage a small team, mostly based offshore, with the opportunity to expand the team as needed.Success in this role is building best-in-class digital marketing foundations - reporting, messaging, lead experience, campaigns, assets - that drive long term value of the business.
Notable responsibilities:
Own the paid media strategy, planning and budgeting process
Continuously invent, launch and improve campaigns and lead experience
Launch new creative and messaging weekly
Identify gaps in the funnel, troubleshoot and fix
Create visibility into all funnel activity from all distribution channels
Create visibility into which campaigns and assets perform the best
Define payback period on paid media spend, by channel
Work with engineers to connect marketing data with in-house reporting
Generate business outcomes via your team
Develop skills for all people in your team
Required experience:
10+ years go-to-market experience for a digital brand
5+ years people management experience
5+ years performance marketing experience
Proven executive experience in a highly novel environment
Proven experience developing talent
Proven experience rapidly systemizing
Exceptional writer/communicator
The first two conversations will be with a recruiter then Chief Growth Officer to learn a bit more about our business and to get a feel for the role.
