    About Global Machinery Sales

    We are a market leader in the Tree Care Industry, operating for over 30 years. Our company offers a wide range of specialty machinery including wood chippers, stump grinders, EWP spider lifts, spider cranes, and mini skid steers.

    About the Role

    We're seeking a creative and passionate Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to lead our social media channels as we grow our business across three sites on the Eastern seaboard. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years' experience in digital marketing and be looking to further develop their skills in this field.

    Responsibilities

    • Plan and schedule all social media activity (organic and paid) across our brand pages, executing key campaign and promotional activity across various platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and LinkedIn).
    • Develop innovative media and digital strategy aligned with our marketing, content, and product release calendar, taking into account competitor activities and audiences across each channel.
    • Engage and moderate social media communities in conjunction with our sales team.
    • Monitor and report on social data/metrics, insights, and best practices to continually improve brand awareness and page growth.
    • Assist with copywriting for social channels and website blog content.
    • Support with general marketing administration, including developing and delivering events and exhibitions, creating design briefs, arranging promotional print and merchandise materials.

    Position Requirements

    • Tertiary qualification in Marketing or a related field.
    • Social media marketing experience.
    • Familiarity with running paid social activity (Facebook and Instagram), WordPress, and Google Analytics is advantageous.
    • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload to hit deadlines, coordinating across multiple departments.
    • Excellent attention to detail with a passion for delivering high quality creative outcomes.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
    • Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator, is advantageous.
