    Retail Manager

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Manager to lead our team at three of Sydney's most iconic attractions: SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium, WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo, and Madame Tussauds Sydney.

    About the Role:

    As a Retail Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the profitable and smooth operation of all retail outlets while promoting world-class service to your team and guests. You will lead a team of driven Supervisors and Hosts to implement strategies to improve financial and non-financial KPIs and effectively communicate retail vision to the wider Commercial Team and business.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage day-to-day running of the retail units with a focus on maximising spends and overall guest experience.
    • Use analysis of sales, budget management, and commercial expertise to achieve financial KPIs across all retail functions.
    • Oversee all inventory management, including day-to-day ordering, stocktakes, and forecasting to meet business needs.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with the team of Retail Attendants, offering regular support and feedback to foster a culture of growth and respect.
    • Drive a guest-obsessed sales culture in the team, aiming to reach upsell and net promoter score targets across all attractions.
    • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the business, including finance, marketing, guest experience, and operations, to ensure a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
    • Uphold a high standard of Health, Safety, and Security across all operations, including the preservation of a psychologically safe workplace within the team.

    About You:

    To succeed in this role, you will have strong customer-focused retail management experience in a fast-paced, busy environment. You will have a proven ability to deliver on multiple projects simultaneously while leading your team in delivering world-class retail experiences to every guest.
