    The Opportunity
    A key element of the work that LG Professionals, NSW undertakes is delivering a range of programs and training courses to the local government sector which includes a wide range of conferences, forums, training and online events that enhances its profile as the professional development partner of NSW councils.

    Due to continued growth and reporting directly into the Chief Executive Officer, the organisation is seeking a Professional Development Manager to lead the planning, design, and delivery of its broad range of high-quality events and training programs.

    The manager oversees the entire event and training cycle, from needs assessment and content development to budgeting and evaluation. The manager also leads and manages a team of event and training managers, plus engages with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the success and impact of the events and training programs.

    ABOUT YOU
    This is a unique opportunity in an Industry leading organisation.
    You will bring to this role previous demonstrated experience in managing events or training programs, preferably in a non-profit organisation together with demonstrated knowledge and skills in designing conferences and events, adult learning principles, and evaluation methods.

    We are seeking a highly motivated individual with well-developed leadership and project management skills who is passionate about delivering quality outcomes. You will bring with you a hands-on approach, be proactive in building positive relationships and possess well-developed communication skills.
