The team's efforts ensure that public gardens, parks, and civil landscaped areas are kept in excellent condition. The role We are seeking a self-motivated leader to coordinate and general horticulture maintenance activities for the beautification of Councils open spaces and buildings. With an eye for detail, you should be passionate about plants and landscape management.
      • Lead and manage a team of crew members.
      • Schedule work tasks, assign responsibilities, and ensure safety procedures are followed.
      • Guide and support crew members in proper horticultural techniques.
      • Ensure that maintenance tasks are executed effectively and followed.
      About you We are looking for someone with:
      • Ability to demonstrate the City of Kingston's values of Future Orientated, Accountable, Dynamic, Expert, Community and Celebration
      • Expertise and demonstrated experience in contemporary horticultural practices
      • Experience in using a range of hand and power tools
      • Demonstrated leadership qualities with exceptional communication skills
