    About the department

    Novo Nordisk Oceania is a high performing affiliate within a mature pharma market environment. You will have the opportunity to liaise with colleagues from the Sales, Marketing, Market Access, and Clinical, Medical & Regulatory departments in Sydney, while developing and implementing territory business plans and prospecting new customers to drive sales results for our new and existing products.

    As GP (General Practitioner) Sales Representative, you will join our high performing sales team that promotes Novo Nordisk products across multiple or non-specified channels in a designated territory. You will report directly to the State Sales Manager – Region South.

    The position

    In this role, you will be promoting to General Practitioners & Diabetes Educators across the Wollongong region including the suburbs of Dapto, Shellharbour, Thirroul, Engadine and the country territory of the South Coast, Nowra and Bateman's Bay. You will enjoy variety, autonomy, strong working relationships with customers, and the chance to promote a lifesaving drug.     You will be in charge for:

  • Engaging with existing General Practitioners & Diabetes Educators and expanding the target group of customers.
  • Being highly organised, self-motivated, driven to build patient centric HCP relationships.
  • Developing and executing a robust territory business plan leveraging face-to-face as well as digital engagements with HCPs/GPs to create a personalised omni-channel experience for our customers.
  • Executing marketing strategies and conducting group presentations as well as monitoring competitors' activities and reporting directly.
  • Working in accordance with business ethics procedures and local laws, as well as Novo Nordisk Way and policies.
  • Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of GP sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Completed a tertiary education preferably in Life Sciences, Nursing, Paramedical or business field.
  • A valid driver's licence, be willing and able to do regular travel away from home and open to extended hours occasionally including on weekends.
  • Must be either be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
