    Our client is seeking to engage an EL1 Tender Manager.

    Location: Canberra, ACT

    Contract Length: 12 months, with option to extend 2 X 12 months

    Eligibility/Security Requirement:Negative Vetting Level 1 or higher

    Statement of Work:

    The Learning Business Operations Section within the Department have requirement for a Tender Manager. The Tender Manager will support the Director within the Learning Business Operations Section, by coordinating activities related to risk, Human Resource Management, workforce planning and WHS for the Academy.

    Duties will include:
    • Managing the end-to-end tender process, including oversight of all tender correspondence, and coordination during and after RFT process.
    • Develop, manage, and maintain effective procurement and contract management processes within the Academy.
    • Finalizing the negotiations and establishing the agreements for Academy procurements and contracts.
    • Provide procurement advice (to team, the Academy and the broader department as required).
    • Draft documentation (approval to approach the market, s23 and agreements) for ongoing procurements.
    • Seek requests for quotes.
    • Notify contracts arranged on SAP contracts database.
    • Submit contracts to get them publishedon AusTender.
    • Update and review and enhance documentation, procurement procedures and workflow processes.
    • As senior officer in the section, to act as EL2 when required.
