    Our client, a well-established and highly respected Travel Specialist based in the Brisbane CBD, is actively looking to appoint a Practice Manager to join their team. This position is onsite at the practice and a full-time permanent position, working 38 hours per week. A 9-day fortnight may be considered.

    Your primary objective in this role will be to ensure that you and your practice staff provide a top level of customer service, whilst also ensuring that patient volumes, staff rostering, and medical supplies are expertly managed.

    This is a fast-paced practice. The successful applicant will be responsible for dealing with all day-to-day operation requirements of running a highly specialized Travel Medicine clinic, as well as all aspects of employee management including performance management and collaborating closely with the Director for practice budgeting. The successful applicant will also have a working knowledge of cold chain management and Work Health and Safety requirements. This position is very 'hands-on' with the front administration and will be required to assist with covering in times of staff shortages.

    Key duties and responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

    • Rostering of staff, including admin team, nurses, and doctors.
    • Liaising with nursing and reception staff to ensure exceptional customer service is provided.
    • Collaborating closely with all doctors to manage their patient load.
    • Hands on with the day-to-day administrative tasks
    • Assisting with covering the front desk during staff leave or shortages.
    • Assist with Business planning and development.
    • Debt control and collection.
    • Implementation and monitoring of KPI's.
    • Work with the Director to ensure all practice policies and procedures are regularly reviewed and updated.

    To Ensure Your Success You Will Have

    • 3+ years of experience as a Practice Manager in either GP or Specialist practice
    • Experience with Zedmed practice management software is highly desirable.
    • Knowledge of vaccination processes is highly desirable.
    • Experience with cold chain management and vaccine stock management.
    • Ability to work in a fast paced and agile work environment.
    • Exceptional organizational and customer service skills.
    • High level of IT skills, including Microsoft office suite.
    • Excellent communication skills, to collaborate with people from a wide range of occupational groups, key stakeholders, and the ability to identify and respond to client requirements.
    • A positive 'can do' attitude with the ability to work well within a team setting.
    • Immaculate personal presentation.
