    The Senior Strategic Designer

    Job Title: Senior Strategic Designer

    Australian Payments Plus (AP+) is shaping the future of payments for Australia, delivering innovation to the country's payments ecosystem for businesses, government, and consumers.

    Solutions include a domestic debit network, real-time data-rich payments infrastructure, secure bill payments, digital identity verification, QR payments, and open wallet solutions.

    The Opportunity:

    This max term position sits within the Product Strategy & Innovation team until June 30, 2025. You'll deliver consistent customer experiences across products, drive innovation, and collaborate with Product, Technology, and Commercial teams to bring ideas to life and solve problems for members and the payments industry.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead product research and ideation facilitation.
    • Design value propositions, features, and customer experiences.
    • Develop low- to high-fidelity storyboards, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes using Figma.
    • Align customer experience with processes and systems.
    • Facilitate large workshops with diverse stakeholders and multi-disciplinary teams.
    • Influence stakeholder attitudes, decisions, and actions.

    Requirements:

    • Senior Lead product design and research experience.
    • Proven leadership in delivering best-in-class work.
    • Deep experience working with Figma.
    • Customer experience alignment with processes and systems.
    • Experience planning and facilitating large workshops.
    • Influencing stakeholder attitudes and decisions.

    Educational Background:

    A bachelor's degree or higher in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is required.

    Estimated Salary:

    $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
