    What you'll do

    In this exciting opportunity you'll play a pivotal role in determining how we use IoT and digital systems technology to enhance the efficiency of our distribution centres. This will involve reseaching potential soluttions, working with vendors, running proof of concepts and validation testing

    Closely collaborating with stakeholders of various levels and assist with the management and prioritisation of the product backlog, including problems, enhancements, and project requirements for innovative infrastructure technologies in the retail space

    Identification and definition of the architectural requirements, automation, infrastructure and feasibility of delivering product backlog, to to enable the engineering and development of new product features

    Ensuring the Product Owner understands what is required to deliver sustainable Engineering solutions, whilst also coaching and mentoring Engineers to ensure we deliver quality solutions

    Contributing to the planning, execution, and review of each sprint with an ability to prioritise amongst competing opportunities, balancing the Product Owner and customer need

    Articulate business benefits and articulate the rationale behind decisions and elaborate business needs and objectives into User Stories, identifying Themes and Epics to ensure the successful delivery of Product Roadmaps

    Assist in the creation of costs estimations for initiatives and budgets and ensure fit-for-purpose system testing and user acceptance tests are conducted on all deliverables

    What you'll bring

    Previous expeirence with IoT technology through an infrastructure lens

    Ability to prototype and demonstrate proof of concepts quickly with an ability to support and seek further sponsorship and adoption

    Leadership skills that enable a clear direction and vision for the space, that can be understood by various levels of stakeholders

    Ability to manage across a matrix organisation to gain consensus, to reverse engineer and understand complex solutions

    Experience in Retail Infrastructure Engineering
