    Project Engineer - Renewable Energy Sector

    The Company We are currently working with one of Australia's leading Renewable Energy Innovators who are now in the exciting phase of delivering environmentally and commercially beneficial power generation solutions.

    They have multiple projects through different phases and as part of delivering this next phase of their journey and experienced Project Engineer / Civil Engineer to work with senior internal and especially external stakeholders to deliver this work has been created.

    They have multiple projects through different phases and as part of delivering this next phase of their journey and experienced Project Engineer / Civil Engineer to work with senior internal and especially external stakeholders to deliver this work has been created.

    The Role Reporting to the Project Director your focus will be on:
    Managing project activities and resources, internal and external, to ensure on-schedule and on-budget project delivery.
    Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, develop, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
    Perform supplier and contractor management, negotiations, variations, dispute resolution and escalation as required.
    Conduct regular site visits to oversee construction, installation, and commissioning activities.
    Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including layouts, schematics, and technical specifications.
    Provide technical leadership and support to the project team, ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
    Develop, maintain, and present project documentation, including weekly reports, schedule, budget, risk to key stakeholders.
    Your Background Must hold a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
    Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification would be advantageous.

    Proven experience supporting energy project development or infrastructure/ heavy industrial project development through both an engineering, management and commercial lens.

    Managing projects from $5 million upwards Able to understand technical documentation specifically around Geotech, hydrology, hydrogeology. Strong leadership and influencing skills with the ability to motivate, influence and engage a broad group of stakeholders.
