    This is a part-time closed period contract to June hours per week) located in Goonellabah NSW

    About the opportunity

    Uniting is seeking an experienced Senior Administration Officer to join our team in Goonellabah NSW. As a Senior Administration Officer based in Goonellabah, you will play a vital role in providing high-level administrative support to our Communities & Property team. You will also supervise and coordinate regional administration support for the Far North Coast of NSW. Provide administrative support to the Regional Program Manager and coordinate administrative tasks and projects.

    • Provide high-level administration support to various teams within the organization.
    • Manage reception duties, including greeting families and young people, answering phones, and maintaining office supplies.
    • Handle general administrative tasks such as minute writing, timesheet coordination, report preparation, and data entry.
    • Identify opportunities for improving service efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Support finance processes and reconciliations.
    • Assist field staff with administrative tasks and troubleshooting.
    • Participate in shared administration duties and collaborate with teams across the region to enhance service delivery.
    • Provide guidance and support to a small team of administration officers.

    Your Qualifications & Experience

    • Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent.
    • Minimum 3 years' experience in an office environment.
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, facilitate, and evaluate project goals.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficiency in computer applications, including word processing, email, internet, and data entry.
    • Flexibility to work varying hours as needed.
    • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience.
    • Financial acumen and experience with accounts receivable/payable, reconciliations, and financial management systems.
    • Experience with travel bookings, event management, and meeting coordination.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Respect for confidentiality and understanding of business processes and policies.
