    You will be tasked with working directly with our customers to understand detailed business requirements surrounding data and translates these into designs and specifications for delivery by our build teams.

    You will position yourself as a "data champion" with our customers, working with them to realise the possibilities that leveraging data with cognitive capabilities can provide.

    This role will involve working with customers to design innovative and cutting edge solutions in areas such as Azure data, analytics, Power BI and AI capabilities.

    Technical knowledge and experience within this domain is important, as is the ability to get hands on with delivery.

    This role is focused on designing solutions and also requires strong business acumen and ability to engage on conversations around key metrics and KPIs.


    Required skills:

    Azure Services:

    In-depth expertise of Azure services relevant to data engineering and analytics, including Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, etc.


    Programming Languages:
    Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and optionally R for data manipulation, analysis, and modelling.
    Data Modelling and ETL/


    ELT:
    Understanding of data modelling concepts and experience in designing efficient data models for analytics and reporting.
    Proficiency in developing ETL/ELT workflows using tools like Azure Data Factory, Databricks.

    Data Integration:
    Knowledge of data integration patterns and techniques for ingesting data from various sources into Azure ecosystem.
    Experience with data ingestion tools, data formats (e.g., CSV, JSON, Parquet), and data connectors.

    Dev Ops Practices:
    Experience developing CI/CD pipelines and change management.
    Understanding of branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.

    Security and Compliance:
    Knowledge of Azure security best practices, data encryption, identity, and access management (IAM), and data governance.

    Monitoring and Optimization:
    Skills in monitoring Azure services and Databricks clusters for performance, resource utilization, and cost optimization.
    Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, and Databricks monitoring tools.

    Beneficial Skills:

    Prior hands-on technical experience in data or intelligence project management Microsoft Azure certification Microsoft Dynamics experience Dashboard / Report using filters Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and design efficient solutions.
    Exceptional attention to detail when architecting complex data systems, validating data accuracy, and ensuring the reliability of data pipelines.
