    About the role:

    Reporting to our P&C Systems & Insights Manager our P&C Systems and Insights Analyst will deliver accurate and meaningful P&C data insights to a range of audiences to support strategic decision-making. This requires developing a scope and working with relevant partners and systems to implement new reporting capabilities. A key element of the role is understanding the business requirements around workflows and analytics.

    In this role, you'll be:

  • Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and data governance.
  • Reviewing and analysing data and reporting to identify patterns, trends, and areas of opportunity for manager action or P&C process optimisation and improvement.
  • Using advanced statistical and analytical techniques to uncover insights from P&C data, such as employee engagement, turnover, recruitment, and performance.
  • Working with the Data & Digital team to find the most efficient use of extracting data from P&C Systems into Alinta Data Hub (ADH)Ensure that your functional and technical designs align with internal IT standards and data privacy considerations.
  • Keeping up to date on knowledge of various automation tools and process management software available.

    • Ideally, you'll bring to the role:

  • Strong analytical and data manipulation skills, with expertise in statistical analysis and data modelling
  • Proficiency in data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and advanced MS Excel skills
  • Software development skills (Java, HTML, SQL)
  • Experience with setting up API's
  • HR systems and database experience, with the ability to extract and manipulate data for analysis
  • Highly organised and efficient
  • 7 years experience in thorough testing of software systems
