    About the role
    We are currently seeking candidates with experience and expertise in Civil/Structural drafting to plan, develop and deliver training and assessment to students in this study area.

    The lecturer's primary role is to teach, facilitate learning, assess and mentor students in accordance with relevant curriculum and/or training package requirements. Lecturers also undertake Professional Activities and Activities Related to Delivery. In order to maintain quality educational services, lecturers are required to keep abreast of technological and other developments in their field through professional development to provide up-to-date information and advice to the College and industry, where appropriate.

    Relevant Qualification and Experience
    To be eligible for employment you must hold a Diploma of Civil/Structural Engineering or Higher with at least 3 years of experience as a drafter in preparing detailed drawings and plans for civil/structural engineering work.

    If you are successful, during the life of the pool you may be offered appointment to similar & subsequent vacancies within the College, within other TAFE Colleges or across WA Government (subject to your permission being granted).

    As this is an open recruitment pool, the following should be noted:

    • The panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applicants and will assess on a regular basis
    • Suitable applicants will be placed in the pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur
    • Appointments may be made from this pool until 31 March 2025

    Eligibility for employment is subject to you obtaining a satisfactory Department of Education Criminal Clearance and, if this position involves contact with children, a Working with Children (WWC) Card.
