    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Compliance Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will have extensive compliance knowledge and experience, ideally 2-5 years in the Australian higher education sector. You will be responsible for:

    • Taking an active leadership role in Higher Education Compliance
    • Collaborating closely with stakeholders across EIT to identify and address risk and compliance issues
    • Implementing and monitoring compliance initiatives, ensuring a cycle of continuous improvement
    • Acting as the primary point of contact for higher education compliance queries
    • Managing the interface between Higher Education and VET compliance
    • Producing and presenting regular reports to EIT governing bodies and assisting with governance-related administrative duties
    • Navigating diverse compliance systems, spanning across the globe (UK, South Africa, USA)

    Requirements

    To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

    • Senior experience and expertise: 2-5 years of experience in the Australian higher education sector
    • Flexibility: Ability to thrive in a dynamic and agile environment
    • Interpersonal skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Problem-solving skills: Ability to use initiative and solution-oriented approach to solve problems
    • Organisational skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Computer literacy: High proficiency in current computer skills and willingness to learn new systems
