    The role will be working with a leading Strategic Design Agency on a long term project within a number of different industries.

    We seek an individual with a proven ability to articulate design concepts, reasoning, and solutions convincingly, garnering support from cross-functional teams both within the organisation and external clients. Exceptional communication skills are crucial for seamless collaboration with diverse groups, including product managers, architects, developers, and other stakeholders.

    The role spans the entire spectrum of the user experience journey, encompassing the inception of novel product ideas and features, as well as the creation and testing of prototypes, ranging from low to high fidelity, with a diverse user base. The team constitutes a tightly-knit group of creative thinkers and proactive individuals who lead the way in pioneering innovative solutions. They collaborate closely with clients to drive experience innovation, uphold excellence in product and service design, and contribute to the development of designs that align with a more sustainable future.

    Accountabilities

    • Lead the UX capability within the project team
    • Drive discovery, research, and data synthesis to identify critical user insights and formulate hypotheses for effective experience design
    • Facilitate workshops, engaging in co-design and ideation with stakeholders
    • Communicate and be an influential voice in shaping and positioning ideas for customer and organisational impact
    • Shape, wireframe, prototype, validate, and test product solutions

    Experience:

    • Over 5 years of prior work as an Experience Design Lead, either in an agency/consulting practice or within the public sector
    • Excellent grounding in User Experience methods and creative problem-solving
    • Strong skills in facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management
    • Experience in audits and competitive benchmarking
    • Proficiency in qualitative/quantitative user research and analytics, including the preparation and conduct of user testing on prototypes
    • Define UX success metrics for client and business impact
    • Expertise in customer journey mapping and user flows
    • Prototyping skills with a familiarity in Figma
