    Job Description:

    The Data Architect will build our data and analytics capability, competency, governance, and capacity. This role requires collaboration with key business areas to understand ongoing data and analytics needs.

    This position will devise and execute a strategy and plan to meet these business needs from a technology and people perspective. Over two to three years, the Data Architect will implement the plan and develop a supporting team.

    A critical component of the role is managing change within the business from a cultural perspective, engaging with stakeholders, and developing necessary relationships for success.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive data and analytics strategy aligned with the business's goals and objectives.
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand data and analytics needs and translate them into actionable plans.
    • Build and lead a team of data professionals to execute the strategy and meet the organisation's data and analytics requirements.
    • Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
    • Design and oversee the implementation of data architecture solutions that support business objectives.
    • Manage the full lifecycle of data infrastructure projects, from requirement analysis through to implementation and maintenance.

    Requirements:

    • 2+ years' experience in a similar role within an employment services setting.
    • Proven experience as a Data Architect or in a similar role within a complex organisation.
    • Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL processes.
    • Knowledge of relevant data analytics tools and technologies.
    • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
    • Experience in change management and cultural transformation within an organisation.
    • Ability to obtain a police check with no disclosable outcomes and Blue Card.

    What We Offer:

    • A permanent, full-time position based in our Southport office.
    • A competitive salary range: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
