    FRF9K Security Clearance Required for this role: * Must have at least Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) security clearance, NV2 preferred.

    * Must be an Australian Citizen * Mon to Fri - office hours

    Key Responsibilities:

    Project Management:

    • Take charge of defining, facilitating, and successfully completing medium-scale IT projects, meeting business impacts and deadlines.
    • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, maintaining realistic plans and keeping stakeholders informed.
    • Utilize appropriate project management methods and tools, ensuring quality reviews occur as scheduled.
    • Manage change control procedures to ensure project deliverables are completed within budget and signed off.
    • Provide effective leadership to project teams, addressing deviations from agreed tolerances.

    Incident/Problem/Service Request Management:

    • Drive the efficiency and effectiveness of incident and problem management processes.
    • Monitor process effectiveness and recommend improvements.
    • Proactively and reactively resolve issues, documenting root causes to prevent future incidents.
    • Develop and maintain incident and problem management documentation.
    • Manage major incidents or High Priority Incidents.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in managing IT projects and resolving incidents/problems.
    • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, with the ability to tailor approaches based on project needs.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills, capable of anticipating, investigating, and resolving issues.
    • Ability to manage risks and maintain project plans within agreed parameters.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead project teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
    • Familiarity with reporting systems and issue documentation, as well as problem resolution analysis.
