As a Food Services Assistant, you'll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of our St Vincent's Care Services Edgecliff facility.
Our small but homey 39 bed facility is located in a tranquil, leafy suburb within walking distance of public transport.

This is a permanent part-time opportunity with morning shifts available during the week.
Things that work for us:
Previous experience in a similar role
Experience in an aged care facility or hospital environment desirable, providing services that support high quality food services outcomes for residents, customers and staff of the Facility
High level of customer service skills
Flexibility to work mornings &/or afternoon shifts (if needed) across the week
Willingness to work in the kitchen or on serving, completing wash-up duties, unloading deliveries &/or whatever is required to provide an excellent food service for our residents.
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skillsAn ability to provide a catering and kitchen service that is consistent with the mission and philosophy of our organisation, and food safety standards
An ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
An understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities
Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (valid within 6 months).
NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
